At the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, WA on Saturday, October 6, the Northwest Boxing Association Heavyweight Championship belt is on the line for Eric “Night Train” Boose, who hails from Puyallup, WA with a twelve win, one loss, record. The 27 year old Boose, a former Boise State football player, will face Jon Clark, also with twelve wins.
Both heavyweights are noted for heavy punches, lots of action, and as promoter, Bennie Georgino noted that “this will be a war, because both fighters are relentless and tough heavy hitters”. Georgino added that Boose is on track to compete for the Heavyweight World Championship if he continues to improve. Clark is a native of Huntington Beach, CA.
Also on the bill in four round bouts are: Lyle Johnson vs. Matt Halvorson, Roland Graham vs. Leo Bercier, Cedrick Armstrong vs. Dustin Neely, Matt Palmer vs. Adrian Hermann, Ross Haskins vs. Ron Simmons, Richard Langley vs. Sergey Krevcenko.
Changes and additional information will be announced as they occur.
Tickets $45, $35, $25 at Ticketmaster, casino (800-720-1788) or Twin Cities Fuller’s stores. Fighters are subject to change and contract approval by the Washington State Boxing Commission.
