Today, at Hellaby Hall Hotel, Hellaby near Rotherham, England, WBC Light Welter Champion Junior Witter weighed in at a 139 and a half pounds ahead of tomorrow nights' Hennessy Sports promoted fightnight.

Smiling, Witter looked relaxed as he took time out to meet fans that had attended the official weighin. "There's no way that belt is going back across the pond!" he told the press.

Former WBA titlist Vivian Harris, who'd been sitting relaxing in the hotel foyer for a while before the weighin commenced, came in at 139 lb and giggled through his interview with Adam Smith afterwards, saying "I'm taking the belt back with me".

Ex-Champ British Lightweight Lee Meager weighed in at 9 stone 11 (135 lb) and his opponent, Laszlo Komjathi, at 9 stone 10 and a quarter (134.25 lb).

Bradford boxer Robert Nelson weighed 8 stone 2 and a half (114.5 lb) while his opponent Andy Bell came in a half pound over the weight, he successfully returned half an hour later.

Nelson was asked for a prediction and simply replied "I will win!".

Equally, Andy Bell told interviewer Adam Booth that he "had done 10 rounds twice before, but Nelson never has"........."I'm going to win!"
