Don King and Julio Diaz, along with Sycuan Ringside Promotions’ President Glenn Quiroga, Executive Vice President Willie Tucker and Vice President Scott Woodworth were present at yesterday's press conference at The U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego, Calif. DON KING: “In the kick-off press conference a few weeks ago, Juan Diaz said that “The only way I am going to lose this fight is if you carry my out in a stretcher,’ and Julio Diaz said “Well, I guess I have to bring a stretcher.’ That quote alone says this fight is going to be fantastic. These fighters are going to leave it all out there.” “Both of these fighters are in it to win it. I can tell Julio Diaz wants to win just by looking at him. The vibrations that emanate from the earth and the sky will be with us on Oct. 13 when these two fighters collide. If you want to see fireworks, watch this fight.” “It’s been great working with Sycuan on this fight. It’s going to be a thriller of a fight. I’ve known Scott Woodworth (Sycuan Ringside Promotions vice president) for a long time, and he knows how to put on a great fight.” “It is great that Sycuan started a boxing promotional company.
