Boxing’s Rottweiler Returns To Ring On November 17

By Boxing Press September 30th, 2007 All Press Releases
After a long wait and much speculation, Ronnie “The Rottweiler” Kerner is set to conquer the boxing world as the new “King of Four Rounders”. Kerner is set to be the co-feature with his close friend Bobby Gunn Saturday, November 17th at the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, Virginia.

He will be fighting for the Inaugural WBE Four Round Special Heavyweight Championship Title. He may also be challenging for the NABC Four Round Special Title, with many more new four round special world titles to come.

The Rottweiler added “I might pick up some twelve round belts too, just for the hell of it. Put it in front of me and I am going to take it”!

Kerner compiled a very impressive record of 17-1-0 with 17 KO’s no draws, and one disqualification, on the pro unsanctioned smoker circuit. He was awarded the NYBSC [New York Boxing Smoker Circuit] Five Borough Championship Belt in a recent ceremony. Kerner is both relieved and excited after the long delays. “This is my time to shine”! “If you enjoyed Mike Tyson, you are going to love me” said the former underground champion.

Mike Tyson and Ronnie share the same brute strength and aggressive style of fighting. Both of these heavyweights are the same height and weight. Kerner then went on to say, “I've been approved to fight for a series of four round sanctioned belts, so all my fights will be for titles and defending them at the same time. I don’t intend to leave anything up to the judges!

"Every time I fight it's for a strap. I don't have time to start out where everyone else did. They're giving me the opportunity based on what I'm capable of” said the supremely confident power puncher. “I’m gonna be like the new Butterbean. Boxing needs a new major personality in the sport”.

Kerner will be taking on veteran Billy Mitchem. Mitchem has fought the likes of Roy Jones Jr. and Mitch “Blood” Green. The Rottweiler said “It took Roy Jones Jr. a TKO in the second round with this guy and Mitch “Blood” Green a KO in the fourth”. Then the very secure Kerner went on saying, “I vow to the world, I’m going to drop him in the first! Way before Roy or Mitch did. This will prove that I can roll with the big names in the sport. Think about it, two of the biggest names took a few rounds to do it. But, Ronnie 'The Rottweiler' Kerner did it quicker, in the first! Imagine that…..People will have to respect that”.

Kerner is happy with his opponent’s experience and is hoping to impress. “This was the guy I want to fight. The reason I want to fight him is because it shows to people I am not your average fighter making his licensed debut. I'm already fighting a seasoned fighter and that’s why im facing a guy who has a lot of experience. I am a seasoned fighter as well and Mitchem is a legitimate opponent. I’m going to impress the world”!

Tickets can be ordered by calling Han Kim (Sugar Kim Productions) at 702-909-8077
