Carl Froch will make the fourth defence of his British Super-Middleweight Title against former world champion Robin Reid at the Nottingham Arena on Friday, 9th November.
Hennessy Sports in association with title partners GoldenPalace.net have moved the show back a week, which allows WBC number one Froch to know the winner of Joe Calzaghe-Mikkel Kessler, who fight for the WBO, WBC and WBA titles on November 3.
Undefeated Froch is closing in on a world title shot.
“The so-called two best super-middleweights in the world fight in Cardiff on 3rd November but a week later less than a couple hundred miles away there will be a boxer in action who can take the pair of them out,” said Froch. “I would fight either of them.”
Promoter Mick Hennessy said: “This fight is going to be relevant to the Calzaghe-Kessler fight because Carl is number one in the WBC rankings.”
Sky Sports will televise Froch-Reid.
