On November 23, 2007 WBC CABOFE Middleweight Champion and Former Contender Star, Miguel Espino (17-2-1 6 KO's) takes his boxing skills "South of the Border" in a ten round main event against an opponent to later be announced. The fight will take place at the "Gymnasio Tigre Garcia" in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico.
The champ will be looking to defend his title and stay active against an opponent from Sonora, Mexico while climbing up the charts of the WBC rankings.
Espino, who hails from North Hollywood, is coming off an impressive win in Bakersfield, California where he destroyed Ray Ortega by TKO in the fifth round while extending his winning streak to eight straight fights.
Training diligently with trainer/manager John Bray at his gym in San Fernando and Espino feel's he's ready for anyone in the middleweight division. He went on to say; "Right now at this stage in my career I feel I'm ready to take on all comers. I'm hoping to get a title shot some time in 2008."
Look for the Miguel Espino to continue his pursuit of the middleweight title as he marches toward his dream of becoming a world champion.
