Chris Sanigar Presents Fight Card At Plymouth Guild Hall November 9By Boxing Press October 20th, 2007 All Press ReleasesPromoter Chris Sanigar puts on a full night of boxing at Guild Hall in Plymouth, England on Friday, November 9 with light middleweights John Harrison and Gatis Skuja scheduled over ten rounds for the International Masters title. Harrison, 9-13-1 (0), has been away from the ring since September of 2006 when the Plymouth man lost a razor thin six round decision to two-weight Celtic title challenger Taz Jones. Skuja, 4-9-4 (2), a Latvian based in London's East End, has been very active over that same time frame, grinding out several convincing wins amid hard luck losses and draws to some of the best up and coming light middleweights in the UK. Harrison must shake off any ring rust acquired during the layoff and use his height advantage to set up precise combinations off the jab if he is to keep the marauding Skuja at bay. The iron-chinned Baltic hardman has vowed to prevent Harrison from doing so by turning the contest into a brutal campaign of trench warfare. Also on the card, Torquay welter Ben Wakeham meets Jimmy Briggs of Plymouth and lightweight Dezzie O'Connor of Plymouth steps in against Birmingham's Sid Razak. Heavyweight Ben Harding of Cornwall and middleweight Paul Brown of Plymouth are also scheduled to appear against opponents yet to be announced.'
