I take off my hat to two of my fighters, Commonwealth light welterweight champion Ajose Olusegun and light heavyweight prospect Tony Salem.
Both fighters were formerly managed by former British heavyweight champion James Oyebola who was murdered in cold blood by some mindless thugs.
As long as these two men’s careers continue they have pledged that James will not be forgotten and they are both eager to win titles in honour of their former manager.
What is even more unusual is they now have signed management contracts with me but have requested that all of the management percentage is given to James’ family.
I believe that this reiterates the respect that they had for James and hopefully they will achieve their and James’ dream that they become world champions and James will know that his family are being looked after.
For the record Tony Salem had his sixth fight at Doncaster last Friday when he beat former Commonwealth light heavyweight champion Ovill McKenzie. This Friday Commonwealth light welterweight champion Ajose Olusegun steps back into the ring on the undercard of the Jamie Moore fight at Wigan on Friday.
