By Boxing Press November 6th, 2007 All Press Releases

Frank Maloney Promotions continues its meteoric rise with the announcement of a triple-header of title fights at Robin Park Arena in Wigan, England on 8 December, 2007.

The top-flight card is headed by European light middleweight champion Zaurbek Baysangurov, who makes the first defence of his title against hard man Jamie Moore.

British champion Moore is on a mission to fight on the world stage and the Salford fighter, who is within touching distance of achieving his ambition, knows that victory against the unbeaten Ukrainian will propel him onto the global scene.

Next up on the action packed card sees the unbeaten Jamie McDonnel and English and Commonwealth flyweight champion Chris Edwards make history when they meet to decide the first ever British super flyweight title.

Completing the trio of thrillers is Commonwealth welterweight champion Ali Nuumbembe, who makes the first defence of his belt against the highly regarded Craig Watson, who has won 11 of his 12 fights.

Also fans will be able to stay throughout the night to watch the Ricky Hatton - Floyd Mayweather fight being beamed live into the arena whilst being entertained by top British personalities. This will be a real British night not to be forgotten and throughout the early hours of the morning, traditional English breakfast will be served.
