Tonight in Bayamon in Puerto Rico, Eric "Little Hands of Steel" Morel defeated Juan Alfonso Keb Baas by wide margins over twelve rounds. Morel returned to Bayamon, the site of his defeat at the hands of Lorenzo Parra and the loss of his WBA flyweight championship. Morel first won the title in the year 2000 with a decision win over former champion Sornpichai Kratchingdaeng and defended it several times before losing it in Puerto Rico. Inactive for over a year, Morel finds himself back in the win column.
