in the fifth, he got up but was put down again and counted out. The win preserves the possibility of a summer spectacular against Floyd Mayweather Jr. No official word has been given on this fight but it is a hot possibility and already being advertised by HBO. The only stumbling block at present appears to be Gatti's reservations about whether or not the trouble-prone Mayweather will be able to keep himself out of jail in order for the fight to happen.
