Elite boxing trainer and ESPN2 “Friday Night Fights” expert analyst Teddy Atlas is a real life Santa Claus. Though the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation assists the needy 365 days a year, it is during the holiday season that Teddy and the foundation which carries on the legacy of his father are truly able to put smiles on the faces of the less fortunate.
Whether it’s giving away turkey dinners with all the trimmings to the hungry families of New York at Thanksgiving, or handing out toys to the kids so that they can open a present under the holiday tree, Teddy Atlas embraces the cause of making life better for those who need a helping hand.
This Tuesday morning, December 18, at 9:00 AM, Teddy and his “elves” will be at Public School 373 (91 Henderson Avenue), followed by a visit to P.S. 20 at 161 Park Avenue, both on Staten Island, to hand out Christmas gifts. P.S. 373 is a special school for autistic children.
Always there to give back, Teddy Atlas and the Atlas Foundation! Happy Holidays!
