British fighters Junior Witter and Carl Froch are aiming to be a part of the huge fight card taking place on February 19th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA. The two fighters are looking to join Eastman on the card who is also part of Mick Hennessy's promotional stable in the UK. Eastman will receive his second world title shot as he faces Hopkins for the WBC middleweight title. Witter has fought largely in obscurity since losing to Zab Judah in Glasgow in 2000, he is waiting to hear if he will face once-beaten Gianluca Branco in a European title match. Froch fights at super middleweight and has been frustrated in his cause to land a significant fight. The talented Nottingham man has apparently been rebuffed by virtually all of the leading British fighters at his weight.
Stay tuned for more details as they happen.
