GBU World Middleweight Champion "Lady Ram" Laura Ramsey is calling out to IBF Ladies Middleweight Champion Mary Jo Sanders to a unification title fight between the top two currently active women boxers in the world.
"To be the best you've got to beat the best", Ramsey says. "I respect Mary Jo and she has three times as many fights as I have. But she has been protected and pampered with carefully hand picked opponents. With Leila Ali no longer an option to fight either of us it makes all the sense in the world to have the top two middleweights face off to prove to everyone just who is the best ."
It is well know that styles make great fights. Ramsey is perhaps the most dangerous puncher in women's boxing today while Sanders is an outstanding boxer. A title fight between the two is the biggest and best fight than can be made in women's boxing today.
"I'm willing to come to her home town to fight her for the title," Ramsey adds, "so there should be no reason on her part not the accept my challenge. Let's get it on."
