Hennessy Sports are pleased to announce that they have won the purse bid for the Vacant English Welterweight title fight between Adnan Amar and Matthew Hatton, this long awaited fight will be added to the undercard of the Froch vs Inkin show to be held at the Nottingham Arena on Saturday 29th March.

Nottingham born fighter Adnan Amar said:

“We will find out if he can fight on the 29th March , I feel he has been over protected and over hyped, he keeps talking about a shot at the British title, now he has the chance to earn one.”

“I’m really excited I have over 6 weeks to prepare for this fight, more time than I have ever had before.”

“I believe I have the skills and the punch power to knock out Matthew Hatton. In my opinion Hatton’s whole career has been an illusion, just a smoke and mirrors act”.

“I think the magic circle will cancel his membership after this fight”.

Mick Hennessy said:

“I’m pleased we have managed to secure this fight and add a top prospect to the already exciting Nottingham Arena bill. Adnan has proved himself in his last 2 fights and he is really beginning to look the part. As this is such a good fight the winner should be in line for a British title shot, we are certainly going to apply for eliminator status”.

Adnan Amar - won 20 (KO 5) + lost 1 (KO 1)

Matthew Hatton - won 33 (KO 13) + lost 3 (KO 1) + drawn 1
