Teddy Atlas, Staten Island’s favorite son, has been selected Grand Marshall for the Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade set for Sunday afternoon, March 9, 2008, beginning at 11:30 am through 3:00 pm.
The ESPN2 Friday Night Fights analyst and boxing trainer has done enormous work to assist his hometown through the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation, which remembers and continues the legacy of his late father.
Step-off for the parade is at 12:30 PM from Hart Boulevard and Forest Avenue on Staten Island. The parade will be preceded by Mass at 9:30AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, Forest Avenue and Manor Road.
