The tickets for Fernando Vargas's long-awaited return to the ring are selling quickly and sales for the event have now cleared the $200,000 mark. Vargas will fight Dutchman Raymond Joval in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 26. Joval has been in with some decent opposition but the fight with Vargas will represent his first step up into true world-class elite competition. Vargas is a former two-time light middleweight champion of the world and has fought such notable champions as Ronald Wright, Ike Quartey, Oscar de la Hoya and Felix Trinidad.
