Stateside today, undisputed middleweight champion of the world Bernard Hopkins held a press conference to discuss his history making twentieth middleweight title defense. The fight will take place on February 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA and Hopkins will face once-beaten Guyanese born, British based fighter Howard Eastman. Hopkins was apparently in fine form, spinning off into various tirades about Eastman and what the future holds after the Eastman fight. Our very own James MacDonald was on hand and his observations on Hopkins' statements as well as a full transcript of the conference will be coming to you soon so stay tuned.
