The new NABA Light Heavyweight Champion Yusaf Mack returned victorious to his long time ʽhomeʼ, the legendary James Shuler Memorial Gym in West Philadelphia, to show off the belt he won on Wednesday evening having beaten Daniel Judah, of the famed Brooklyn Judah family, by unanimous decision.
Yusaf was cheered on entering the gym with belt in hand, after the many handshakes and slaps on the back even more cheering and clapping followed when world famous coach Brother Nazzim asked everyone to cease training and then after giving a stirring congratulatory speech called, Yusaf in to the ring to receive further accolades from fellow boxers at the gym.
A recording of his latest victory was put on the big screen TV and Yusaf then spent some time chatting with friends old and new including former IBF light middleweight champion Robert ʽBam Bamʼ Hines, amateur superstar Rocque Richardson and up-coming middleweight Jamaal ʽDa Truthʼ Davis before having some photographs taken with middleweight Dee ʽTigerʼ Moses, featherweight Marianne Marston and famed female coach Sharron Davis.
