As part of Mexican beer manufacturer Cerveza Tecate’s continued efforts to bring the power of boxing to fans across the nation, “Solo Boxeo Tecate” will be broadcasting live from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago this week.
Boxing aficionados will have the opportunity to watch Mexican 24-year-old Alex Valdez, 20-2-1 (15), as he encounters Anyetei Laryea, 17-3 (9), from Chicago over ten rounds at super bantamweight.

Meanwhile, coming from Ghana, Laryea is the winner of the Commonwealth title on 2007 after defeating Isaac Ward, 15-1-2 at the time.
