British super featherweight champion Alex Arthur will be in the ring on April 9, facing Craig Docherty with his title on the line and more than that. Arthur will be looking to remain in the win column after arch-rival Michael Gomez's shock defeat last Friday. Arthur, who lost a five round war to Gomez, his first defeat, was entertaining a rematch with the Manchester man, but this latest crushing defeat for Gomez may signal the end of his time as a top-flight fighter. Arthur then, turns his attention to defending his own British title in a fight that will draw great attention in his native Scotland. The fight will be held in Glasgow's Kelvin Hall, stoking the boxing fire of Scotland's dedicated supporters.
