The authentic bold Mexican beer Cerveza Tecate presents another hot-action boxing night from Corpus Christi, TX, as part of its continued efforts to bring the power of the sport to fans across the country.
Tonight, the weekly Telefutura box series “Solo Boxeo Tecate” will showcase Miguel Angel Huerta, 26-9-1 (18) and Juan Ramon Cruz, 15-4-1 (11), in 10 rounds of lightweight combat at the Exhibit Hall of the American Bank Center.
Fighting for redemption, Huerta, known as “El Anestecista,” arrives to Texas after being defeated in March 2008 by Former World Champion Javier “Chatito” Jauregui, and consequently losing his #4 WBC position. From Puerto Rico, Juan Ramon Cruz will come prepared to prove his skills on the ring after having suffered three of his four loses in the US.
The co-main event of the night pairs up Benjamin Flores, 18-3 (6), from Houston, TX and Miguel “Mickey” Roman, 18-3 (6), from Mexico in 10 super bantamweight rounds.
The live Telefutura broadcast begins at 8:00 p.m. EST/PT, 7:00 p.m. CT
