Only one weekend separates boxing fans from fight week for the year's most eagerly anticipated event of the year! It's time for "The Battle", the four fight pay-per-view extravaganza, headlined by the collision of welterweight superpowers Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.
Undefeated WBA Welterweight Champion Cotto, 32-0 (26), from Caguas, Puerto Rico, and two-time welterweight champion Margarito, 36-5 (26), from Tijuana, Mexico, rekindle the classic Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry which has produced so many epic rumbles including: Gomez vs. Zarate, Sanchez vs. Gomez, Gomez vs. Pintor and Chavez vs.Camacho. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, the Cotto vs. Margarito world welterweight championship has ignited debate on who will win this exciting fight.
Fight week officially kicks off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this Tuesday with the fighters' grand arrivals, at 11 a.m. PT, followed by their media workouts.
