The public is invited to witness the official weigh-in for what the media has dubbed "A Fight for the Ages." Undefeated WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto and two-time welterweight champion Antonio Margarito will step on the scale today, Friday, July 25 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Doors open at 1 p.m. PT with Cotto and Margarito stepping on the scale, in their final face-to-face meeting before their fight, at 2:30 p.m. PT. The undercard weigh-in will follow at approximately 3 p.m. PT.
Promoted by Top Rank, “The Battle!”, the four-fight pay-per-view extravaganza headlined by the Cotto-Margarito world championship rumble between welterweight superpowers, takes place this Saturday, July 26, at MGM Grand, and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. PST.
