Boxing In New York: ESPN2 Returns To Brooklyn For Next Wednesday Night Fights Broadcast

Boxing returns to Aviator Sports at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, August 6 with ESPN2 will carrying the event on their Wednesday Night Fights series.

“This is some fight card," said promoter Sal Musumeci of Final Forum Boxing. "We have heavyweights, light welterweights, a little something for every fight fan!”

The main event of the evening will put Ali “The Hurricane” Oubaali, 21-3 (17), in a 10 round bout against Chris “Kid Kayo” Fernandez ,15-4 (1).

The undercard sees two explosive heavyweight bouts scheduled with Albert “The Dragon” Sosnowski, 43-1 (26), taking on Kevin “Big Man” Burnett, 13-1 (8), while Derric Rossy 18-2 (10), takes on Jermell “The Truth” Barnes, 18-16 (2).

“I’m proud of card," said Musumeci. "This is the kind of quality fight card you get when two first class organizations like Final Forum and Star Boxing work together.”
