A Knockout in Brooklyn!

By Jim Everett August 6th, 2008 All Boxing Articles

Final Forum Boxing continues their tour hosting their second blockbuster show in five nights coming off last Friday’s Showtime Shobox series and now presenting tonight’s broadcast of ESPN’s Wednesday Night Fights.

Heavyweight prospect Derric Rossy returns to the ring after fighting in Asia and Europe and looks to rebound from his knockout loss to Alexander Dimitrenko. Also featured is another heavyweight prospect making his second appearance in the United States this year Poland’s own Albert Sosnowski.

Albert “The Dragon” Sosnowski 43-1 (26) takes on Kevin “Big Man” Burnett 13-1 (8) while Derric Rossy 18-2 (10) takes on Jermell “The Truth” Barnes 18-16 (2).

“This is some fight card,” said Sal Musumeci of Final Forum Boxing, “we have heavyweights, light welterweights, a little something for every fight fan!”

The main event of the evening will put Ali “The Hurricane” Oubaali 21-3 (17) in a ten round bout against Chris “Kid Kayo” Fernandez 15-4 (1).

“I’m proud of card,” said Musumeci, “this is the kind of quality fight card you get when two first class organizations like Final Forum and Star Boxing work together.”

Tickets are $50, $75, $100 or $200. You can buy them at Aviator Sports or go to www.finalforumboxing.com.
