Tony Jeffries fought Hungarian Imre Szello in the quarter-final of the light heavyweight Division this week and his was the third time that Jeffries had been up against Szello - having beaten him by one point recently.
It was a decent first round for both men, with Jeffries ahead by 2-1 at end of the first frame.
A good second round for a more relaxed Jeffries as he goes 5-1 up, the Hungarian not having scored a point during this second frame.
Round three and a straight left from Jeffries causes Szello to falter and the British man notches up a wider margin of 9-2.
In the fourth and final round, a left-right combination immediately followed by the same - causes the referee to give the Hungarian a standing eight count. A low scoring round but Jeffries secures his semi-final place with a 10-2 win over Szello.
Jeffries will now face Irish boxer Kenny Egan in the Semi-finals today.
Egan was impressive in his quarter-final match against Brazil's Washington Silva, winning by an 8-0 margin.
