Cestus Management new boxing sensations Rodolfo “Baby Cobra” Gomez, Robert “Nighthawk” Luna Jr will make their much anticipated pro debuts, in front of a sold out 3,000 ravenous boxing fans that will pack the Civic Center in Laredo, Texas on August 29, 2008.
These hardcore fans will watch these young Lions fight on the undercard of local favorite Hector “Hurricane” Ferreyro who will challenge for the IBA Latin Americas Heavyweight title. Ferreyro, the former Texas and IBO/USBO heavyweight champion, will be taking on the
“Psycho Monster” Osvaldo Martinez. The bout is scheduled for ten rounds.
The young and highly regarded nineteen-year-old Rodolfo “Baby Cobra” Gomez, has a height of 6’ foot 3” inches and weighs 147 pounds is the nephew of Manuel “Shotgun” Gomez and the son of Rodolfo “La Cobra” Gomez”, will be fighting in a four round bout.
The second Cestus Management fighter is the powerhouse former United States Combined Armed Forces Amateur Champion Robert “Nighthawk” Luna also making his professional debut in a four-round fight.
The event is being promoted by Los Dos Laredo’s Boxing Productions in association with Recon Garza Promotions.
