From the office of WBC President Jose Sulaiman:
World Boxing Cares will participate in the Athletes for Charity event on Saturday, August, 30, at 12:00 noon at the Sports Museum of America, located at 26 Broadway (and Whitehall Street) in New York City.
World Boxing Cares chairperson Jill Diamond, North American Boxing Federation Vice President and WBC Board of Governors member Joe Dwyer, former U.S. National amateur champion, three-time New York Golden Gloves champion, professional contender and current boxing commentator Brian Adams, WBC female lightweight world champion Ann Marie Saccurato, and NABF female atomweight champion Suszannah Warner will attend the event, along with professionals from other sports.
School supplies will be given to needy children from throughout New York. Tee shirts, Lifetime Membership Certificates and wristbands will also be supplied.
