Friday Night Fight Results.

By Boxing Press February 19th, 2005 All Boxing News, Boxing Results

Friday night in the United States of America was a busy one with many big boxing results to report. We begin our results round-up with the news that Greek light welterweight contender "Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis retained his undefeated streak with a twelve-round unanimous decision win over Roberto Santa Cruz. On the same bill, Shamone Alvarez stopped Jose Medina in the fourth round of a welterweight contest.

WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito kept his title by stopping Sebastian Lujan in ten rounds in Atlantic City. With the win, Margarito ensures that he will face unbeaten interim champion Kermit Cintron later this year.

In Arizona, Ernesto Zepeda won a technical decision over nine rounds against former WBC lightweight champion Cesar Bazan.

And finally, Jesus Gonzales stayed unbeaten and grabbed his fourteenth victory with an eight round decision win over Albert Mercedes.
