One of the top Women boxers in the world over the last ten years, Mia St. John, will make a presentation entitled "Medical Safety in Female Boxing" at the AAPRP Medical Conference on Ringside Safety at Bally's Resort Casino in Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, October 16 at 2:30PM.
St. John has held the world lightweight title and is currently the WBC International Female Welterweight Champion. The California native has participated in 55 professional boxing bouts in a career that began in 1997.
The Oxnard resident will include such topics as pre-fight urine pregnancy testing, the role of breast and groin protectors, breast implants and their risk of rupture along with a discussion on steroids in her presentation at the medical conference.
