Ringside at the middleweight championship contest between Bernard Hopkins and Howard Eastman last night was none other than former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Still recuperating from the knee injury he sustained while fighting Danny Williams last year, Tyson spoke of returning to the ring around May of this year for three "easy fights." Admittedly, there is not much chance that Tyson will ever be involved in any meaningful fights
in the division again, but the strength of his name still holds drawing power and may be able to help his financial situation. Owing millions of dollars, Tyson will have to hope that whatever he does in the ring will not injure him again if he is to secure enough paydays to help him. And despite his tarnished legacy, there are still plenty of fighters whom would want to fight him above anyone else.
