The greatly anticipated pairing of former world champions Shane Mosley and Ricardo Mayorga heats up this week as the two prepare to face off on Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Mayorga will hold a media workout on Tuesday and the combatants go head to head on Wednesday in what is sure to be a eventful press conference in Los Angeles.

Sugar Shane Mosley vs. Ricardo Mayorga, is a 12-round junior middleweight bout presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Don King Productions. Andre Berto vs. Steve Forbes is the 12-round WBC World Welterweight Championship co-featured bout presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Don King Productions in association with DiBella Entertainment and Tournament of Contenders.

This exciting evening of boxing will be held on Saturday, September 27 at the Home Depot Center and televised live on HBO’s World Championship Boxing beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET.
