Four time female world champion, Carina "La Reina" Moreno, returns to the Tachi Palace Casino on October 23, 2008 where she will defend her WBC and WIBA minimumweight titles against Jodie Esquibel of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Moreno,19-1 (5), who is considered by many boxing enthusiast as one of the best pound for pound fighters in women's boxing, will look to extend on her eleven fight winning streak.
"This is another big fight for me," said a confident Moreno, "My experience in title fights will be my advantage. At this level, everyone is tough. I'm expecting Esquibel to be in great shape. The fans can expect a great night of boxing. I'll be ready for what ever she brings into the ring"
