"King" Arthur Abraham´s defence of the IBF title against Raul Marquez that was to have taken place last night in Bamberg is postponed until November 8.

According to a press release from Sauerland Event, the champion woke up Saturday morning with "a temperature and flu-like symptoms". Abraham was then diagnosed with influenza which forced a postponement of not just Abraham vs Marquez but for the show as a whole.

"The Dancing Destroyer", Herbie Hide returned home for a fight in Norwich last night against Latvian Aleksejs Kosoboksovs. Hide resides in Hamburg and is promoted by Arena Box Promotion and this was his first appearance in the UK since 2004.

As Antonio Margarito has been declared WBA "Superchamp", Ukrainian Yuri Nuzhenko has moved from "interim" titleholder to "full" WBA Welterweight Champion of the world.

Adrian Diaconou´s defence of the WBC Light Heavy title against Italian Silvio Branco will now go ahead November 15 in Bucharest and not November 8 as previously planned.
