Khan Turning Professional?
By Boxing Press February 24th, 2005 All Boxing News| Britain's amateur lightweight star Amir Khan has pulled out of his latest bout, a move that fuels rumors that he is set to turn professional very soon. Khan is set to hold a press conference in England later today, however it is not known precisely what will be discussed, only that an announcement of his decision to turn professional is not expected to be made today. Khan, who won silver in last year's Olympics opted to continue his amateur career but has found difficulty in transitioning up in weight.
