British promoter Barry Hearn has caused a stir in regard to the big Scottish clash between Alex Arthur and Craig Docherty. Hearn's request that the fight be pushed back from March 18 to April 9 did not sit well with Sports Network, the company backing Arthur. Initial rumblings surrounding the fight were that the entire possibility of the contest were in jeopardy and that Scotland might be set to lose one of its biggest events in years. The fight looks set to go ahead but a site and date are not totally confirmed. The fight will go to purse bids with these elements to be decided in the coming weeks. SaddoBoxing.com will keep you up to date with the latest developments.
