Danny "Swift" Garcia's, 8-0 (7), opponent has been announced. Philadelphia's undefeated rising star faces a stiff challenge in Adan Hernandez, 15-5 (5).
Hernandez has gone twelve rounds with Anthony Peterson and looks to be a good test for Golden Boy Promotions hot prospect.
The two warriors square off on the undercard of Hatton vs Malignaggi set to take place November 22, 2008 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"I'm happy to be stepping up in competition," said Garcia, "I don't know much about Hernandez except that he's got a good chin and has only been knocked out once in his career. I'm excited to test my skills against him. Fans can expect to see me with an aggressive style. My goal will be to knock him out."
