Arena Boxing: Former Olympic Silver Medallist Yalcinkaya Wins In Russia
By Boxing Press December 7th, 2008 All Boxing ResultsArena’s bantamweight prospect Atagün Yalcinkaya showed a great performance at the “Circus” in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, stopping Nosirjon Rozimatov from Uzbekistan in the first round.
2004 Olympic Silver Medallist Yalcinkaya dropped his opponent early in the fight. Rozimatov was able to recover and beat the count, but after another hard right to the head 20 seconds later, the referee stopped the bout.
It was Yalcinkaya’s fourth stoppage win in his fourth pro fight.
