IBF Cruiserweight Champion Steve ‘USS’Cunningham announced that world renowned luxury timepiece manufacturers Azad Watches are sponsoring him when he defends his crown against Tomasz ‘Goral’ Adamek tonight, Thursday, December 11 at The Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey.
Steve, who joins an elite club of Azad Watches owners that include no less than 50 Cent, Akon, Michael Straiham, Ali Daie, Sean Paul, Jay Alford, Chris Brown, Trina and Mos Def, spoke of his new association with the craftsmen who create these sought after bespoke timepieces.
“It’s an honor to be chosen by Azad and their excellent watches. I can’t thank Victor, Eddie and Bobby enough. To be working with these guys is a real privilege.
"I’ve seen Paulie with an Azad watch and went to the website and see a few stars have them such as Chris Brown. I’m thrilled with the watch, it’s pretty tight, probably the best watch I ever had. I’m very happy about it all and look forward to our working together in the future. Man, I’m going to be able to tell the time with style now.”
The IBF Cruiserweight Championship title fight between Champion, Steve ‘USS’ Cunningham and challenger Tomasz ‘Goral’ Adamek is co-promoted by Kathy Duva’s Main Events and Don King Productions and takes place at The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Thursday December 11, 2008.
