Reno’s Let’s Get It On Promotions has announced the signing of undefeated lightweight prospect Bayan Jargal of Arlington, Virginia.

“Tommy and I have watched him for a while and we truly believe with his continued growth he can be a world champion,” said promoter Terry Lane . “As always with a prospect, the plan is keeping him busy and challenged and that’s our goal for 2009.”

The all action 26 year old Jargal has amassed a record of 9-0-1 (6) since turning professional in November 2006. He finished his amateur career with an 80-10 record and represented Mongolia in the 2004 World Games.

Jargal is coming off an eighth round TKO of Doel Carrasquillo on November 6 in Washington, D.C. He will make his debut under the Let’s Get It On promotional banner on Friday, January 23 at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV .

Said manager J.D. Brown, “Bayan’s a real crowd pleaser. The fans love his aggressiveness and we’re looking towards a big 2009 for him. He wants to fight every week and we’ll look to keep him very busy, maybe once a month in the New Year. He’s always training and worked very closely with Paul Williams for most of 2008.”

Brown has managed former world champions William Joppy and Demarcus Corley in addition to working as an advisor to boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard.

“Bayan and I are very happy to be working with the Lanes and along with their matchmaker Chris Middendorf; it should be a very productive relationship,” continued Brown.
