Tonight at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, U.S.A. several important fights took place before an enthusiastic audience. Sultan and Timur, cousins of the Ibragimov family took the next step in their careers while heavyweight Shannon Briggs and former featherweight champion Kevin Kelley, both natives of New York looked to get their careers back on track. The results are as follows: Sultan Ibragimov remained unbeaten when he knocked out Al "Ice" Cole in the third round. Timur Ibragimov also won in the third round when he knocked out Ron Bellamy in another heavyweight contest.
Kevin Kelley returned to winning ways with an eighth round stoppage of Felix St. Kitts. Kelley will now campaign in the super featherweight division. Finally, Shannon Briggs posted a win with a solid stoppage of Demetrice King in the second round.
