Manuel "El Toro" Quezada, 26-4 (16), is back in action April 23, 2009 when the Tachi Place Casino hosts the "Best of Both Worlds PFC/Boxing" fight card. Quezada, who currently holds the WBC Cabofe heavyweight title, battles Chad Van Sickel in a scheduled ten round bout.
"I'm excited that I'm able to get back in the ring and stay busy," Quezada said, "In my last fight, I felt real comfortable and scored a nice knockout. I credit that to a great training camp. I'm getting the best work sparring at Joe Goossen's gym in Van Nuys, CA.
"My goal is to continue winning and climb up the WBC rankings and eventually crack the top ten by the end of this year. I'm willing to fight anyone anywhere."
Look for Quezada to come forward and bring th e fight to Van Sickel, looking to extend his 15 fight winning streak.
The Palace Fighting Championship in association with Goossen Tutor Promotions bring you the action. Doors open up at 5:30 pm with the first bout starting at 6:00. The weigh-ins will be open to the public on Wednesday, April 22, slated to start at 4:00 pm. Fans can join the fighters at The Den Sports Bar located on the third floor of Tachi Palace Casino.
