Cestus Management would like to welcome to the Cestus family Mr. Mike Hall and Mr. Ray McCline, and also to announce that Mr. Hall and Mr. McCline will be taking over the training of Cestus Management's undefeated junior welterweight sensation "Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis. Mike Hall's
background in boxing is outstanding. Hall has been training fighters in his Pleasantville, New Jersey gym since 1969. He worked under the legendary Eddie Futch for five years, during which time he assisted in the training of Riddick Bowe and Michael Spinks. Hall has also taken the lead role in training many championship-caliber fighters, including Dwight Qawi, Ray Mercer and Virgil Hill.
Hall offered comment on his newest charge, "Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis. "When I see a kid fight that has the ability to go all the way, it interests me. The kid knows how to fight, but there are adjustments he needs to make.
"I teach boxing as a science," said Hall. "There are times when you have to box, there are times when you can go ahead and punch. But if you know how to do both, you can adapt to any opponent. That's what a Champion needs to do."
Hall's assistant and protege Ray McCline had some words as well.
"Mike Michael and Cestus Management have done a great job getting 'Mighty' Mike to this point in his career," said McCline. "Mike Hall and I are the missing ingredients. Together, we will take this kid all the way."
Says Mike Michael, Advisor to "Mighty" Mike and Cestus Management, "Cestus Management and myself are very excited to put together a team that has the knowledge and experience to create World Champions. I think that this is going to be a great relationship.
"'Mighty' Mike is in Greece right now, but we've been in regular contact and he is looking forward to coming back and doing some serious training. With the enthusiasm and dedication of 'Mighty' Mike, the experience and stellar reputation of Mike Hall and Ray McCline and the know-how and work ethic of myself and the rest of the Cestus team, there won't be any stopping us!"
