Branco Sports Productions, in association with SABC Sport, announces an IBF Bantamweight title eliminator between Silence "African Spice" Mabuza and Yohnny Perez on Friday, May 29 at the Indoor Arena in Springs, Gauteng, South Africa.
31 year old current IBO champion Mabuza, 22-2 (18), of Springs, is ranked #3 by the IBF and has won three straight IBO title bouts since losing an IBF title rematch to Raphael Marquez in 2006.
30 year old slugger Perez, 18-0 (13), of Cartegena, Colombia is ranked #6 by the IBF and won the vacant NABF title by dominating veteran Oscar Andrade in a rematch last June.
Tickets, priced R100 Ringside and R50 General Admission, can be purchased at Computickets or Shoprite/Checkers. Doors open at 20:00.
