Memorial Day weekend may mark the unofficial start of the summer, but the heat really picks up on Saturday, May 30th, as the most explosive boxing doubleheader of the year takes place at the Hard Rock Live, featuring the welterweight title bout between Andre Berto and Juan Urango, and the junior middleweight battle pitting Alfredo Angulo against Kermit Cintron.
To get ready for fight night, DiBella Entertainment and Seminole Warriors Boxing have scheduled a full week of events to prepare the world for the wars taking place on May 30th.
- Tuesday, May 26th, Andre Berto and Juan Urango will engage in open workouts for the media at the Lucky Street Gym from 1pm to 3pm. The Lucky Street Gym is located at 5440 S. State Road 7 in Hollywood, Florida.
- Wednesday, May 27th, All fighters and their camps will be available at the final event press conference at the Hard Rock Café in Miami beginning at 1pm. The Miami Hard Rock Café is located at 401 Biscayne Blvd.
- Friday, May 29th, All combatants on the May 30th show will weigh-in for their bouts at 5pm in the VIP Room at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood.
Berto vs Urango, a 12 round bout for the WBC welterweight championship of the world, is presented by DiBella Entertainment and Seminole Warriors Boxing and will be televised live on HBO Boxing After Dark beginning at 9:45 pm ET / 6:45pm PT. In the televised co-feature, junior middleweights Alfredo Angulo and Kermit Cintron will slug it out.
