Brian Peters Boxing: McCloskey vs. M’baye For European Light Welter Title

With regard to the vacant European Light Welterweight title fight between nominated challengers Paul McCloskey and Souleymane M'baye, purse bids have been suspended as both parties have come to an agreement.

Northern Ireland southpaw McCloskey, 19-0 (9), won the British title last December and has recorded on succesfull defense.

Frenchman M'baye, 37-3-1 (21), is a former WBA champion.

Full details of the contest will be confirmed next week.
