Star Boxing: DeGuardia Honored At IBF Convention

Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing, was awarded this year’s “Most Active USBA promoter”, at the 26th annual IBF/USBA Convention, which was held in Panama City, Panama.

DeGuardia who was in attendance, earned the award for the work he did with current USBA Welterweight champion and IBF #2 rated, Delvin Rodriguez and former USBA Jr. Welterweight champion “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis.

Rodriguez will now fight for the vacant IBF Welterweight championship this summer against South African Isaac Hlatshwayo.

Both Rodriguez and Arnaoutis fought four separate times in 2008, winning all four of their bouts.
