The booster 460 cm wrap is the best! The tape is lol, thats a kind of expensive thing for amateur boxers.

I use Everlast 108" wraps and use 2 wraps for one hand. Don't worry if they are too short, just use 2 on one hand.

    how long is that wrap?

Just like to say that is was a very good wrap job.... However, we do not wrap inbetween the knuckles for bag work. keys wrap thumb back an lock with wrist and pad knuckles well. the 180 mex wrap is the best no matter the brand. wrap knuckles for fights!! not practice....as it will damage or cause to much calluses between the fingers. if training for a fight, you want this to happen, so start finger wrapping at least 6 weeks prior!!

if you're a professional and want a career, then yes. any injury to the hand/wrist is a major setback, possibly a career ender. the point of the wraps are to aid in stabalizing the joints, mainly the wrist, and many bones in the hand so the don't hyperextend, damaging the tendons. it also adds a stabil layer so the skin doesn't get torn, chaffed, burned. also a psychological effect allowing the fighter to focus on throwing punches without worrying their wrist is going to snap.

What do you think which has better durability? The elastic or the 100% cotton handwrap?

my trainer always wraps the material through the fingers aswell and then he fastens it up with the tape

do you have to wear a hand wrap and a glove to hit the punching bag... and also is it crucial to wrap between the fingers?

  19. Aug 15, 2009 at 06:26 PM by jamesac

Yes you can use them for several months usually, until they wear out.
