There is no anti Brit bias. Generally the people who bash Hatton on these boards are Mayweather fans not Americans who hate Brits. Many Brits can't seem to remove their national pride from a discussion about 2 boxers. A critique of Hatton or Calzaghe usually leads to ridiculous insults directed toward the US and Americans in general.

floyd is a good fighter. I think the fans make it hard to believe with their excitment and vanity about him. He is so popular that the truth about the way he fights has been lost in the mayhem. Ricky has the style to beat floyd. And i hope he does, and if he dont i give the credit to floyd. Rickys a pressure fighter and floyd is crap on his back foot. Thats when he is most sketchy and most vulnrable.

Jeff Lacy was good boxer - phenomenally powerful, busy, fast and aggressive. However, Joe Calzaghe just destroyed his confidence. There was a time when Lacy genuinely thought he could become the best SMW in history; a 168lb Mike Tyson. Joe destroyed that dream and now Jeff's fighting for nothing but money. The higher you build up a fighter the further he has to fall and the harder he lands. It's a shame, Jeff could have been someone. Still, go Joe - knock Hopkins out!!!

calling jeff lacy overrated is unfair to both fighters because it makes calzaghes victory seem shalow and it is unfair to jeff becaus he is a verry acomplished fighter his onley loss in 25 fights is two a underfeated 2 weight wourld champion and a top ten pound 4 pound fighter and because he lost people say he is overrated bull shit he showed heart to take the fight and put his reputation on the line as well as his titles
